Who are we?
PROevents is a comprehensive event company owned by the couple Jon Thordarson and Ragnheiður Aradóttir and was founded the year 2013.
We are a company where every staff member has an extensive experience organizing all kinds of events of all sizes such as incentives, conferences, business parties and annual parties. We provide you with all service from A - Z. We always bring our experience to help you achieve your goals and beyond.
We put all our pride and integrity in the quality of our service and all our employees and contractors are carefully selected with that in mind.
Our values are; professionalism, ambition, originality and personal service.
It´s our goal to provide you with that “extra spice“ that makes all the difference at your event and afterwards.

Jón S. Þórðarson
Jon is a founder and owner of PROevents. He has extensive experience in event services and has also a long management experience in business and the arts. He works with many of the largest Icelandic firms of many diverse, e.g. anniversaries, motivational trips, receptions, large events, live television and awards ceremonies, to name a few. He holds BSc in Business Administration. Jon takes a great pleasure working with people from all walks of life and has an endless ambition for each event, which are prepared in an impeccable way.

Ragnheiður Aradóttir
Ragnheidur Aradottir, ACC certified executive coach and has over 25 years of experience in the world of business, as a business manager, sales and marketing director, project manager, planner, management trainer, consultant and life-coach. She holds a BBA degree in tourism and hotel management and a MSc in Human Resource Management. She worked for 15 years in tourism, among other things for Icelandair and has an extensive experience in organizing motivational and group tours as well as conference planning. In recent years she has focused on management training and training for business in relation to changes, with very good results. She works with a large number of managers at all levels of coaching.
Ragnheidur has an extensive experience in both training and workshops; she has trained over 5000 participants at all levels in a number of companies both in Iceland and abroad. Among international companies are; Alcoa, Century Aluminum, Marel, Icelandair, Deloitte, Siemens, Bertelsmann and SAP. In recent years she has focused on management training and training for business in relation to changes, with excellent results. She has high ambitions for maximizing the functionality and performance on your own terms. Her motto is “We control our attitude and we can always create our own success”

Arnór Gíslason
Arnór is an Electrician with many years of experience in the events sector. He has produced events of various sizes i.e. concerts.

Dröfn Magnúsdóttir
Dröfn holds a College degree in Event management. She has produced events for PROevents and i.e. for Reykjavik city for the annual Cultural Night. She has conciderable experience in producing Incentive trips and conferences.
